Book Review – Little Heaven by Nick Cutter

For some reason, this book has evaded me, which is all the more surprising when you realize just how good I think Nick Cutter is. I was finally able to get to it, and boy am I happy I did, as Cutter once again proves himself to be one of the best horror authors working today.
There are elements of Jonestown and little sprinklings of Barker inspired storytelling in this one, with brilliantly drawn characters lighting up every single page.
Little Heaven is a long journey, but it never feels that way. Every time you feel the story begin to slow down a little, a new horror is unleashed to suck you right back in. This was an easy 5-star read for me, as is all of this author's work. I cannot wait for the next one.
