Today, a link to Why Martha McPhee Carries a Notebook Everywhere | Wirecutter, with the wonderful phrase “…to track the uncharted territory of the present moment”. Good to see the great Lynda Barry mentioned in the article as an inspiration and mentor for journaling wisdom.
Also, do you ever just edit the url of those wordpress sites and put in some number for “/page/X/”? Got lucky doing that here, because http://www.thecramped.com/page/40/ has a post on a clip that I had a memory of but wouldn't have known how to find again: Gay Talese gives a tour of his distraction-free writing space and explains his reporting process.. More analogue goodness.
