This is a continuation of Chapter 33.

I enjoyed reading personal development blogs and articles years ago, which includes building habits. My first blog back in 2013 is about those kinds of things. That niche is saturated yet Atomic Habits became a best seller. I already follow that guy before he release that book. I got to know him because of Leo Babauta, who runs Zen Habits.

Bible reading is a habit that is a must for a Christian. Ngl, I only started reading around 2011, and it's a process. The good thing is God planted verses in me, through the years. Like this one

Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.

My high-school self interprets it as “love your friends”, I do have close friends, and I cherished them, naalala ko pa yung nag-away kami nung besfren ko back in 6th grade, dahil sa picture ng kras, ako unang umiyak, kasi ayoko mag-away kami. Lol.

Back to the habit of Bible reading. I think one of the highest moments, once you get into reading God's Word is you will still read even if it doesn't make sense.

Never let that fire go off, rise into the ashes! Hahaha

One of my shallow reasons that I must read is: I read personal development books why not read a better book, the Bible? Kesa mag scroll ng Tiktok ne?

A Christian must be like an ant, always prepared for rainy days to come. Read your Bible, it's better than Mang Inasal or Luk Yuen.
