This is Christopher also known as coastmoor from the days of BBC's Get Writing in the early 2000s. Since that time I have been to university and obtained a Masters in Creative Writing with Poetry and Screenwriting as my options,
Simultaneously with beginning the MA I started Louth Poetry Group, with the clearly espoused intention of broadening my exposure to poets and their poetry. The group continues to this day online via zoom, which is 17 years and still going.
In 2015-2016 we transformed our old stables into a writer's room, and in 2017 we established a creative writing group where we welcomed writers of all genres and persuasions to work on their creativity every Monday morning.
In 2020 we moved online courtesy of Zoom, which is now our full-time home. We run three weekly sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 10-1. Being online they can be accessed from a far wider area. Feel free to join us.
