Yes, Afro-Iranians exist,
they carry the salt of the Gulf,
the rhythm of Bandari drums,
called Zanjī in whispers and in pride.
They are not erased,
though maps pretend otherwise.
Their dance is the tide,
their skin the sun’s witness,
their name a history too heavy to hide.
