- It's easy to get caught up in what's going on in your life, but this story is a great reminder to be present for people.
- There are different types of procrastinators: “although active procrastinators procrastinate to the same degree as passive procrastinators, they are more similar to nonprocrastinators than to passive procrastinators in terms of purposive use of time, control of time, self-efficacy belief, coping styles, and outcomes,” according to this study in the Journal of Social Psychology.
- This whole article is great, but this comment on tech writing, specifically from developers specifically really hit me: “[Our] communities do not view writing as a tool for discourse or learning but use it primarily as a signalling mechanism to establish status and hierarchy.” Oof.
