some of my thoughts and notes

Almería

Wondering whether the parking lot close to the city center was really legal for me to park on, I looked at my car from a bit of a distance.

A woman walking her dog, seemingly reading the question on my mind, told me in Spanish that it was a good parking spot or that I had parked well. I was happy.

Walking into the city, I went into a cafeteria and asked whether I could use the toilet. First she said no, but then she apologized and explained that she had first thought I had asked for wifi.

Leaving this place again, I saw an apparently homeless person on the street – with a cat in his lap.

I think I like this city.

Day 2:

Every second corner of the city smells like food. And if it doesn't smell like food it smells like flowers.

In a café I observed a cat who tried to form a friendship with a dog who was sitting at a table with his human. The cat came over again and again.
