some of my thoughts and notes

Ego out of Work

I just realized how much people love it when you remove your ego from your work. During the 90 minute debrief meeting we just had, the most positive comment on anything that I said was this:

“I love that honest statement that you just made: that you would love to go back to Sintef because it was so interesting, but that you don't think it's necessary.”

It also really helped to drop the need to “be right” about something, but instead to focus on how to get the most important insights communicated to the team.

To align everyone on what's necessary, what's good, and what's not important, regardless of what I or anyone else would like or not like.
