Freedom
Leaving my parents' home with all my things felt really good. I'm free to drive wherever I want and do whatever I want now.
Going for a last walk and talk of the season with my best friend from school also felt very right.
I had felt a bit sad for not bringing any unread paper book with me, and coincidentally he gave me a print version of a novel by Erich Kästner that he had forgotten to give me for Christmas.
Sleeping in the car for the first night felt a bit strange. It was relatively cold, I was sleeping close to busy train tracks and for two hours into the night another car was parked about 50 m away with its headlights pointing at my car.
Of course it was only as scary as I made it in my head but I couldn't sleep calmly until that car was gone.
Feels good to keep moving.
