some of my thoughts and notes

Healing

I know that there are different types of health, as well as different types of awareness (waking, dreaming and deep sleep) corresponding to our different bodies (gross, subtle and causal).

I also know that you have the best overview of all of your bodies and their health and that you can very well manage them without my help.

But I also think that the root of your current health problem might be in the area where I think I know most: the gross (physical) body.

Of course I'm not a doctor and I understand only tiny, tiny bits of how the immune system works, but here's what I know:

It needs certain substances it can't produce by itself, among them certain minerals, vitamins and amino-acids. If they are lacking, it can't do its job as good as it normally could. Furthermore there are a number of substances derived from plants and mushrooms that are said to have positive effects on the immune system, many of which are only common in Chinese or Indian culture.

There are two selections of nutritional supplements that I've been using since last September whenever I felt that I was starting to get sick (usually a very subtle feeling in the throat).

And so far, I never got sick, the feeling in the throat never grew past that point where I started noticing it, even when everyone around me got sick.

I've also tried giving the same capsules to friends when they got sick, and it's a bit difficult to judge whether they helped because you never get a clear comparison of “with” and “without” supplements, but the tendency seems that they are helping. It might be only a Placebo effect but knowing what I know it makes perfect sense.

If you would like to try them, just give me your current address and I'll send you a package.

What I also found helpful when I had severe throat pain towards the end of 2021, besides supplementing the essential amino-acid Lysin was a specific type of healing yoga.

It mainly consisted of a space meditation, a humming meditation, and a grounding meditation. The healing effect was so profound that my doctor couldn't even see any sign of infection one day later, whereas two days earlier I had been afraid that I might end up dying if I don't see a doctor.

I suppose that humming “eeeh” into the throat helped to stimulate the lymph nodes in the throat – it activated the healing energy. Humming “oooh” into the stomach stimulated the Vagus nerve, the central nerve of the para-sympathetic nervous system, the “rest-and-digest” half of our nervous system which also activates our healing energy.

With lung pain there are a number of other Asanas that might also help besides the humming. Here is a selection of Asanas that might help the lungs. Of course with any of this, both the humming and the Asanas, listen to your body and don't stretch it too far. Don't go so far that it hurts. Only go so far that you stimulate your body to start healing itself.

Be kind to your body and make sure it has what it needs. I wish that you live a long and happy life, and I'm willing to support this as good as I can. If you have any idea how I can do that, you're of course welcome to let me know.
