Montpellier
The difference between driving through snowy mountains two days ago and being in Montpellier now is just mind-blowing.
Here they have palm-trees in the streets and it already smells like spring.
I could imagine spending my winters here, no need to look any further south.
If palm-trees can survive the winter here, I can probably as well.
Edit:
Inside the city I met a group of protesters and joined them for a while because I liked their vibes.
It smelled like cannabis in the crowd and generally in many places around the city.
I met some people in the streets who I just felt like smiling towards, and almost all of them smiled back.
I loved that feeling. I also loved walking into a super nice bakery that played nice music.
And my achievement of the day was finding a miniature version of my car, even in the same color and with the same chrome bumpers, and still not buying it. I could have, but why?
Once the sun disappeared behind a layer of clouds I was more than glad that I brought my jacket with me and I was looking forward to getting back into my warm sleeping bag.
