some of my thoughts and notes

Mouse

Yesterday evening, I took a seat in my car, just to relax a bit.
Right above my head, I heard a sound that reminded me of a bird walking on the roof. But then I actually saw tiny footsteps bulging out from the leather of the roof and watched them move away from me. I was upset and decided to call my best friend from school, who has a lot of compassion for mice.

He suggested what I had already guessed: the best bet is to leave the mouse alone so she can calm down and find her way out on her own.

We continued the conversation and at one point he asked:

“Did Youtube, by any chance, recommend you the same lecture by Paul Watzlawick yesterday evening?”

“You mean the one about the topic 'when the solution is the problem'?”

“Yeah.”

Turned out: we both got that recommendation and we both watched it and enjoyed it. We both hadn't known what a smart guy Watzlawick had been.
