Shit
There is a saying we use whenever we process shitty information:
“Shit in, shit out.”
If you feed shit into your process, usually you get shit out.
This holds true in engineering – with shitty data, all calculations of the world will produce shitty results. In filmmaking, if you record shitty footage onto your SD-card, no matter how hard you process it, you will usually produce shitty results.
The same usually also applies to the mind. Feed it with shit and it will produce more shit. I think only very well trained minds can really transform shit into gold, like the mystical process of alchemy. I sure want to learn this.
What's most fascinating is that in nature, this happens literally all the time. You put shit onto your field, and more food will grow from it. So.. nature is the real Alchemist and the whole concept of good and bad literally doesn't exist for it.
