Creater takes down Fediverse Almanac API after critique
Only a day after creator Rob Hafner has released an API that allows for querying of instance data, the API is taken down again after significant pushback from the community.
Rob Hafner states: “Fediverse Almanac has been taken down and the data removed as well. Everything has been purged, and it never had any data about any individual users to begin with, just metadata about the instances themselves. I am sorry for the discomfort this project caused.”
