Statement by PeerTube about study on PeerTube use by right-wing extremists
The German Institute for Strategic Dialogue has released a study about the use of PeerTube by right-wing extremists. Framasoft, the developer, has released an official statement about this study. They state that their values are “fundamentally opposed” to right-wing extremism, and agree with the results of the study. Framasoft states that PeerTube is free software, and they cannot fundamentally block people from using it. Framesoft states that empowering the communities is a major way of dealing with extremist content, and explains how they think this can be accomplished.
