Here are some of my projects.
A non-exhaustive list of my current projects. Last updated: 9/25/2023
From Jason
Is this a blog or a digital garden? I'm working that out. For now, you can read about why I made this space and some ongoing thoughts about the digital garden concept.
How to Commission a Logo Design: A Practical Guide for Non-Designers (working title)
freelance.fromjason.xyz/tag:SeriesLogo
If you're a freelancer starting your new business, you'll need a logo. The problem is most people don't know how to project manage a logo design. They are often left with designs that don't fit their needs and file formats they don't understand.
How to Commission a Logo Design series attempts to solve this problem.
I'm posting the series to my freelance blog one part at a time. Figured that will push me to finish it finally. Read the first post here.
Stories From Jason
Here, I publish my short stories and flash fiction.
My first story is called “Love, Loss, and Raspberry Scones.” It's a flash fiction story about a man named Abraham who writes a love letter while floating through the galaxy.
Freelance From Jason
Here, I publish all I have learned after ten years of working as a freelancer. My leftist politics, and ADHD, will undoubtedly shine through my writing, so I want to embrace those slants.
Look out for helpful guides, resources, and musings on how to become a full-time freelancer in a country that would prefer you'd get a regular 9-to-5.
Curated List of Tools & Resources Every Freelancer Needs
I made this list for all year-one freelancers who want to save time and money using powerful tools that a fellow freelancer with ten years of experience curated.
Notion From Jason
A currently ill-defined project for my Notion homepage. At the moment, I'm openly brainstorming ideas to make the page useful and interesting for visitors.
HyperKeeper
(In production)
An all-in-one toolkit for freelancers built in Notion. I am actively using HyperKeeper for my freelance work as I refine it. I plan to release version 1 by the winter.
Tentative features include:
- Invoicing and Tracking
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Project Management
- Objectives Discovery
- Focus Journals
- “Second Brain” designed for freelancers with ADHD
Today Journal
(In production)
A daily journal that defeats task dread using habit, prioritization, and the pomodoro technique. I hope to launch this winter.
