• US to withdraw from the UN Human Rights Council over disagreements about Israel. If Haley et al. disagree with the Council's decisions, is it better to withdraw and no longer have a seat at the table from which to attempt to direct change?

• Asylum officers in February 2017 proposed separating women and children as well as indefinite detention...meaning separating kids from their families was, from the start of the T. administration, the goal. In order to stop South and Central Americans from applying for asylum, as they have every right to under international law, the US under President T. has abdanoned the moral order. Where is the good in that? How is that ethically defensible at all?
