Throughfare in Peace

We sat with a dream
And fully espoused the dawn
I was alert to the day
Rousing our own redeemed heart
There were causes for the poor
And a democratic wish
To play our own
In its part, we whistled and we knew
A song of a story
Of Christ’s redeeming of

So we were over words
And knew our faith had won
In twenty short reviews
The dialectic had won at last
And it is written in the streets
No fortune but Christ,
Of our Father in Heaven,
Saw us born unto Him
For every flower of honest revoke
We sat up as Christians

And in God’s church,
We remember tiny this:
Jesus is Lord; Christ the King
Forgiveness for all
And saints waiting yonder

We are ahold of our dream,
And all its parts
It is therefore possible to know,
Just as there the powerful,
We won salvation
At an early stage,
Which is now

Glory to God in The Highest
And peace to His People
In Christ,
Amen
