Stitches
Released: 2012
Directed by: Connor McMahon

I watched this movie about two or three weeks ago with a friend. We happened across it while browsing through Shudder's selections and based on the description alone, we knew it was something we had to watch:

Years after a prank on young Tommy's birthday left hired clown Stitches dead, Tommy's childhood friends gather to plan the birthday party to end all parties. But when the degenerate jester arrives to seek vengeance on the teens who caused his untimely end, Tommy and his friends are on the run. But Stitches has some scary new tricks up his sleeve. Who'll wind up getting the last laugh?

I'm going to tell you right now, it's not a good movie. It's a really, really bad movie, but so bad it's actually good for a laugh. It's extraordinarily cheesy, but it's definitely a fun watch. Without giving too much away, here are a couple of the things that really got my friend and I rolling:

As long as you leave your expectations of a good scary movie at the door, I think you'll have a fun time with this one.

Xanny says: check it out.
