Let's Give Thanks

Source

Here it is...

Another Thanksgiving holiday.

Except this time... the circumstances look a bit different.

Covid-19 decided to hit not only the US, but multiple nations hard this year, causing many families to cancel Thanksgiving altogether. Many will now be sharing a meal with only their immediate household.

Even though this is true, it is important to take time and reflect on things we can be thankful for this year, even though it has been a tough one overall.

Let's be grateful for the basic necessities of life. Without them, we wouldn't be able to live a life that we enjoy let alone be able to pour into other people and lift them up.

Food

Drink

Shelter

Clothing

Relationships

Transportation

Think of every day like a gift. Every day that you wake up, you can be thankful for at least one thing in your life. If you start off each day with a grateful attitude and a grateful heart, that will set you up for success for the rest of the day.

Let's talk about more things that we can be thankful for. We can be thankful for technology and the fact that we're able to invest , grow, learn, about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.

Blockchain technology has opened up an entirely new opportunity for people who are looking for ways to earn extra income, especially in underprivileged countries where they don't have access to many of the financial means that we have here in the US.

Be thankful for where we live and for having the resources available at our fingertips to learn, to grow, and to enjoy the things that we want to enjoy while gaining value from the things that we am interested in.

This year has hit many people and many households hard financially, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Not to mention the fact that we have to wear masks everywhere we go out in public which prevents us from seeing people for who they really are.

Even though it has been tough to navigate these waters, there is a silver lining if you look for it. It is all about perspective. What is your perspective on the current landscape of society? Is it all doom and gloom? Or do you see hope in the future?

It is time to shift our perspective and look for the good, look for the hope, look for the things that we can be grateful for during these stressful times. The times may still be hard, and we may still struggle, but our mindset and our belief systems will allow us to get through these times just a little bit easier.

Being grateful, and putting yourself into that state of thankfulness, Is going to allow you to fight the stress and the pressure that is being put upon you during these trying times. We could even be grateful for gratefulness itself.

We could be grateful for the fact that we are even able to be grateful in the first place. When you find yourself at that level of gratefulness, then nothing can stop you. Nothing.

Being in that state, where you are grateful for the fact that you can be grateful, is a power that not many have learned to unlock and therefore stay stuck in their current ways of thinking, not making much progress towards hope of any kind. Do not let that be you friend.

Do not fall into the doom and gloom trap, but instead, put yourself into a state of gratefulness... and your life will never be the same. Simply take a few minutes out of your day to think of things that make you smile. If you can't think of anything currently, then think of something that you could be grateful for if you did have it in your life.

So, as we celebrate Thanksgiving today, may we also celebrate the fact that we have the ability to be grateful. It doesn't have to stop there. It can continue far beyond the Thanksgiving holiday and spillover into next year and the year after that and the year after that and the year after that and the year after that.

Right now, the decision to choose gratefulness can kick start a ripple effect not only in your life, but in the lives of those around you and the people you touch all over the world with your message.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Peace out. ✦
