Desperation
Not a great photo, but shows the hidden desperation in late stage Capitalism. i took this at 2 am. He was rooting through my house’s dumpster. I dont know if he was looking for food or something else.
But what causes someone to become so desperate that they root through a dumpster? Addiction? No job and no money? Just wanting this life?
Whatever the cause, it’s a symptom of a broken system. Capitalism thrives on violence and trauma. Capitalism creates desperation for the poor. Capitalism is dying, and it’s taking the poor with it.
