Here's my blog, where I like to write about my dramatic, social middle school life. Read if you dare.

Hey there. Today was really weird, because I saw something I've never seen before. You know those popular guys at school? Using Gen Alpha and Gen Z slang, acting like they're too cool to be mad at anyone? That's my crush, right there. I've only ever seen him when he's around his friends, and he gets along with them pretty well. Let's just call him Dylan.
So today Dylan's friends were being “funny” and throwing his binders and papers around the classroom. It was actually kind of funny at first, with Dylan going “Hey... stop throwing my stuff!” In a joking, “funny” way. But later his friends kept doing it to him and it started becoming less funny and more annoying. Dylan kept having to retrieve his stuff from the other side of the classroom, and his friends would just throw them again.
Later Dylan was like “Okay, but guys, seriously, stop throwing my stuff, it's not funny anymore.” His friends didn't listen to him, and they kept throwing his stuff around. Although it may sound like bullying, I swear, it wasn't, they were just joking but may have taken it a bit too far. Dylan got really pissed, and you wouldn't even believe this, but he literally moves to the other end of the table. AWAY from his friends. And he went, and sat there, all alone. I've never seen him alone before, and even thinking about it is genuinely weird. Because he's, like, VERY social.
And later his friends noticed that they changed his seat, and instead of being good friends and apologizing, they decided to make things more “funny.” They started calling him a name. I couldn't hear it because they were saying it way too fast, but I could tell from their tone that it was a mean one. And he wasn't responding, so I assumed he was hurt. I felt kind of bad for him. A while passed and his friends kept calling him that mean name. It's almost like they needed to be hit in the head to realize that this is one of their friends that they're being mean to!
Dylan was still being oddly silent, and it was until the end of class when his friends said “Okay, okay. I'm sorry Dylan.” He looked up and said something WAY too quiet for anyone to hear. Then his friends tried to change the subject. “So, are you hyped for lunch?” Of course then Dylan broke into a smile and started bragging about how he was getting Cane's.
Obviously boys don't stay mad at each other for long, but a part of me kind of wished that Dylan was still mad at his friends. I mean, my OWN CRUSH! I don't even know why I thought that. I just can't stop thinking about that completely different side of Dylan. The quiet, introverted, mad one. It's so weird...
