First Day of the Rest of My Life...
Today is the first day of the rest of my life. Whether I am a believer in Jesus Christ or not. Whether I am a good person or a bad person. Whether I go to church or a synagogue or mosque. Whether I am a believer in a Higher Power or an atheist. Help me to do better. Help me to BE better. Help me to get closer to the Highest God of Goodness and Truth, to the Highest Ideas of Goodness and Truth. Because if I meditate on complaining and depression, I produce more of the same. But if I actively seek the Highest Ideas of Goodness and Truth, I set myself on a journey of a higher nature, a venture into Goodness. And if I reciprocate all the goodness that I find, it will come back to me. I will reap what I sow. Some call it karma. In addition to goodness, if I reciprocate all the Truth that I find, giving out the newly discovered Truths, I will reap what I sow. And, thus, my journey will lead me closer to You: the Highest God of Goodness and Truth.
