Losing to Win!
Just when you think you’ve cracked the code, God flips the script. The season shifts and what bloomed in Spring rots in the Fall. What stood strong in the Fall snaps like dry bones in Winter’s grip.
You thought you had it nailed down? Wrong. The rules change. People change. Yesterday’s weapons jam against today’s monsters. Last year’s skills don’t even dent this year’s obstacles. That’s by design. Keeps us leaning, bleeding, clawing for a Higher Power. Mine? Jesus Christ.
And while the world screams, “Rebuild yourself! Reinvent yourself! Become the ultimate Me!” Jesus throws dynamite into the self-help section with one line: “Whoever finds his life shall lose it.”
That means every time you polish your image, flex your wisdom, build your little tower of strength—you’re already sinking before you even begin. Why? Because He said it, not me. It’s written in every Bible, every language, every tongue: “Whoever finds his life shall lose it, but whoever loses his life shall find it.”
There are things worth losing for. Worth bleeding for. Worth dying for. There’s a Cause higher than your cause, a Cross heavier than your burden. A God who didn’t just love, but SO loved the world that He broke Heaven in half and gave His only Son.
Some things are worth getting lost in. Eternity is one of them.
