Under Constant Construction as is My Soul

Pictures and Videos from the Gulf of Mexico and a Jellyfish Story

I can’t keep track of what I posted. And I think I’m irritating my kids with all these pictures. So I’m just gonna’ pack up all my stuff and upload it, download it, stream it and whatever else I gotta’ do to get it all here in one place… and then just chill from here on out… until it’s time to come home (to where the Heart is).

“We’re here!” Just made it.

I like to sit out at night on the beach, bury my feet in the sand (until things beneath the surface poke at my toes), and just… chill.

Doing what I just said above… chilling on a lawn chair on da’ beach. Love the serenity. Praying in the Spirit, meditating on the Word, and praying.

This ferris wheel is at the Wharf, a famous tourist attraction. We were on the way to the water park.

Leaving the water park.

Deep conversations, these two. There’s a video next:

Goodbye, Waterpark!

Although my photography skills are inept, I felt this would make good use of the mirror and get Leo and me together.

Our 11th floor balcony.

And a video from our balcony:

And another one where I’m being silly about being a walrus:

And still yet another one from the balcony at 3:33 AM one night of thunder:

This is where Leo practices his boxing training (yes, you heard that right… he’s training at a boxing gym to get into shape… so hardcore):

Leo chill-laxin’.

A pretty picture I liked:

Gotta’ have morning coffee

Leo and Vinnie waiting on the ladies.

Kaylee and Vinnie in deep conversation at dinner:

Leo & Sydney

Sydney in the jaws of a hammerhead:

Vinnie has teased people about losing his leg to an Illinois River Shark, so this picture cracked us all up! Ha ha!

“You brew some good coffee, Dad.”

This giant behemoth lumbers out onto the beach while mothers grab their children in horror, lol!

Leo n’ me in the ocean where he’d just said, “Don’t drop your phone, Dad.”

I asked for a photo and here I realized I might be irritating them asking for pictures, lol! But that’s what Dad’s do, right? lol!

From the 11th floor at night:

2nd Night out on the beach… look at that moon!

Love how the Gulf Shore lights up at night.

How I took this picture of a cloud by night I’ll never know:

Crazy heart-shaped cloud. I got my phone’s camera going too late and the heart had already… pretty much disappeared. Maybe it was God saying, “I love you!”

Okay, pictures are uploaded. I’ll post whatever videos I’ve got here and then hit the hay. Goodnight, friends.
