This Night is Electrifying! (And my Bible)
Here’s the Bible Vinnie and Kaylee got me for Father’s Day this year:
And on the back these words etched into the leather as well as my heart: “From Vinnie and Kaylee Miller. We love you!”
Now I’m going to go outside on the balcony and attempt to film some of the lightning flashes from the storm. Here it is (I hope):
It’s taking a while to back up the lightning flashes from my phone to YouTube. As I wait, I hear the thunder and wonder whether any of the kids are up. I know they’re all 23 to 24 years old… but a parent cannot help being concerned. I know Jesus said to not worry about tomorrow. “Take no thought about tomorrow, what you shall put on or eat. Behold the birds of the air, how they do not toil… but your Heavenly Father feeds them.” (My 3:33 AM non-caffeinated paraphrase) But I’m not sure He said don’t worry about your children.
Now I just checked YouTube and it said it’s “backing up.” I think I’ll attempt to upload the YouTube video anyway. And I could change the title I suppose. Add something about lightning. Maybe say, “This Night is Electrifying!” Yeah, maybe I’ll say that.
