Two Events in One!
Today was our Harvest Party/Pastor Appreciation. While we were not able to record the worship service, let me tell you how great it was. The congregation truly appreciated me. I know this by the many times I blushed and smiled and wondered, “Who were they talking about?” when they said all those wonderful things about me. I felt if any of it were true, it was simply because Little Johnny (me) got out of the way and Jesus ministered through me. So, all kudos go to Jesus. (Thank you, Jesus!)
My son Vinnie and his beautiful wife Kaylee came and sat by me. Vinnie even spoke a few words of appreciation for me after Ray, Faun, Warren, Joy, Catherine, Jenny and Annette spoke gracious words which humbled me.
Joe and Patty gave me her Bible Cover which I have loved for years. Thanks, guys!
