More abstract landscape paintings...
Alcohol based markers on Moleskine watercolour paper.
I am finding great joy in painting abstract landscapes with markers: painting them is relaxing, almost therapeutic, easy, and the end result is very effective.
I am not entirely happy with this one, but I am applying the philosophy of “finish what you started”, and it leaves me with a feeling of accomplishment that I really like, though it is sometimes hard to push past the fact that I am not completely satisfied with a work.
This was really hard to photograph due to the black reflecting the light, so in the end I was forced to set up my scanner I had lying there since I moved.
This means I actually accomplished two things today – and in my current situation is absolutely great.
