Is it a lack of faith?
An impatience grows
ever greater, yet, slowly…

We journey forth stuck, alone
‘till fear or death bring us home
Laud the unknown, laud the worry

Lord and us to test
quicken us, hurry
lest we dally in dreams
☦️
“Lead us not into temptation…”
yet us fools lead lives to chasten
Forsake us not, forgiveness aplenty…
☦️
…for those who ask and seek his mercy
Gone away for we have been
only to be found in love, again
