Hello World! It's Me, Music Gnome. (A Re-introduction)
It's been a while since I've written anything here, but the amount of music I've discovered hasn't changed a bit. I have more discoveries than ever and I can't wait to share them here.
Before I can start doing that, I feel a reintroduction is in order. This site has bounced around from host to host, platform to platform, and I want to start a little fresh with this iteration of Music Gnome. I haven't mentioned it in a while, but the main reason I set out to start publishing content to the web was to improve my writing. I've come a long way, since writing my first post, but I still feel mediocre at the craft. Luckily, blending my passion for music, along with my desire to become a better writer has been a great motivator to start writing again.
From here on out though, I'm going to be taking a more personal approach to how the posts are written. I want to share my thoughts on how these beautifully arranged pieces speak to me. I won't be sharing anything I dislike, so this will be a journey of how certain song feel to me. I'd also love to write the scenes and scenarios that are theatrically acted out in my head as the music plays. I'm taking back Music Gnome to be an experience for me, and you're welcome to read along to the almost “journal-like” entries as I hopefully improve my writing, and become a little more human.
I can't wait to see you back on the other side.
