Congraduations

The daughter graduated this weekend, receiving a Magne Cum Laude in her Bachelor of Music. I couldn't be prouder of her. She worked hard and even changed schools mid-way because she wanted a better education. That took a lot of maturity ... more than I had at that age.

The school had an actual ceremony and handled COVID-19 restrictions very well. They limited the number of people per family. Each family had plenty of distance between other families. They had all the graduates sitting 6ft apart. Masks required. And they modified their usual ceremonies a bit to accommodate, but everything went swimmingly.

Weather was perfect and we were able to have a little celebration at a local winery afterwards. All-in-all a good day. A little bubble of niceness in what has been a whirlwind past several weeks.
