This caboose is a metal caboose located in the Route 66 park, on Wade and US 81, next to the famous Route 66 sign. It is in good shape, if appearing to have a little rust.

The caboose was originally AT&SF 999245, but has been repainted with CRI&P logos. It is reported to be the Chamber of Commerce Information Center.

If you get a chance, go across the street and try Sid's Diner for one of the best onion burgers you can find!
