tragedy of a little child, born into a money-crazy world
“I feel neglected. my parents are so busy chasing money that they have no time to take care of me. But I just want them to love me, is that so hard?”
Said every child ever.
“And if my parents are not chasing money, they are chasing sexual encounters. And if they are not chasing sexual encounters, they are chasing positions of power and authority. And if they are not chasing those, they are chasing recreational drugs. And, before too long, they fall sick, and die. Or grow old, and die. Is that really love for me? Or them indulging their selfish desires, at my expense?”
