Hello again. I hope you have plans for a great weekend, maybe enjoy the Fall colors.

POTUS is causing even more chaos as he begins to layoff hard working federal employees in the Departments of Commerce, Education, Energy, Health and Human Services, and Treasury. This is all part of his Project 2025 plan to eviscerate the government and make it impossible to hold elections in 2026 and 2028.

Just think what these departments do for the nation. Commerce oversees the trucking industry making sure those who travel on our roads are safe.

Education is responsible for funding programs for students throughout the nation. Schools which do not receive these funds cannot provide critical services for special needs students.

The Energy Department provides oversight of our electrical, gas and nuclear power providers. If you need these resources, the layoffs may make it much harder to get the resources you need.

Health and Human Services provides guidance and funding for needed medical services throughout the nation. You don't want to be sick and find out the layoff is delaying your medicine.

Finally Treasury is responsible for paying the government's bills. If you work for a contractor doing business with the federal government or your job is providing services under a federal contract, the Treasury is responsible for making sure your employer is paid. The employees who are responsible for making those payments will not be available to do that work if POTUS lays them off.
