POTUS Gets Flagged as Dumb
I hope you are taking care and feeling well.
Lately it seems that POTUS is not getting any proper legal advice. POTUS apparently wants to make burning the US Flag a crime. I guess he never heard that the US Supreme Court decided that burning the flag was protected speech. This decision was made a long time ago so maybe his advisors don't know about it. POTUS should drive up the street to the Court and ask to see their records.
POTUS has also decreed that the LGBTQ Pride Flag should be banned. Apparently, he made the comment while being shown a picture of what he assumed was the Pride Flag. The picture he was shown was of the Progress Pride flag, which represents acceptance for the entire LGBTQ+ community, not the Rainbow Flag. Can't these folks get anything right? POTUS needs better help. The current group is not cutting it.
I'm sure any LGBTQ+ person that POTUS stopped on the streets of Washington, DC would be happy to provide him with correct information. If this event ended up on a report card the grade would read “Must Do Better.”
