POTUS Not Invited.
Hi there. Looking forward to the weekend? I sure am.
Our closest trading partners had a meeting on Thursday to discuss living without us. They are trying to work around the problem of the tariffs that POTUS imposed on them. POTUS did not get an invite. I wonder why???
Now I know we all love our cars and Mexico knows that too because they are a big source of vehicles and vehicle parts to this country. They also provide us with electrical machinery, computers, and medical devices. These are things we cannot live without.
Canada exports petroleum products to us. The thing that makes our cars, trucks and boats go, we get from them. They are our biggest source of these natural resources. I know you think that the Middle East is where we get most of our oil, but that's not true.
Sure they both could find replacement customers, but what happens when the tariffs end and, these two long time friends don't want to sell to us anymore?
POTUS is not a friend of the average American. He doesn't care what happens to us because he is not in the same boat with us. If he needs car parts he can get them custom made. If he needs gas, he can have it imported at will. That is what the wealthy do and, the rest of us can just go to h___!
