POTUS Vance The Liar?
Hello again. Hope you have great plans for the weekend.
While on Fox News, VP Vance kept saying over and over that Democrats caused the shutdown because they want medical services for aliens to be provided by the federal government. As usual the members of this administration either don't know or don't care about the truth.
Under federal law, only Americans can obtain services under Medicare or Medicaid. If you are an alien, even one that has been here for decades, your status of being undocumented prevents you from getting these services. Mr. Vance may not know this, or maybe lying to the American people is more important. With him it is very hard to tell. Certainly he wants to stir up his base because the midterm elections are only 13 months away and he is afraid of losing his party's majority in Congress.
Politicians should be required to tell people the truth or be prevented from saying anything. Silence is better than the constant lying. Now you know that lying is being done on both sides. So lets make these knucklehead politicians tell us the truth or tell us nothing. Would it be possible to fine them for blatant lying?
We need peace from both sides not more and more agitation.
