1.1 Years Founded – Emerging Spaces
•Companies in the area of Quantum Computing are all founded after 2005
•Companies that are in quantum computing are software (6), hardware (8), and semiconductors (2) companies
•Only 1 company in Quantum Computing failed/canceled their last financing, while the rest are either completed (13) their last financing or waiting for their upcoming financing (2)
•Companies in the quantum computing spaces are either generating revenue or generating revenue/not profitable (1 – IonQ)
1.2 Business Status – Job Location
•Remote location is the highest posted job location
•Google as a profitable company, has open positions for their office in California, Goleta the most (same state as their HQ – Mountain View)
•Except for IBM which has the remote position, 4 other profitable companies only have open positions at the specific locations
• In contrast, IonQ (generating revenue/not profitable), they have 12 open positions for remote work, the highest of all companies.
