my micro-blog

Early Saturday evening finds me listening to my Texas Rangers playing against the Atlanta Braves, and reflecting on my injured right shoulder that came from yesterday morning's fall in the front yard.

It has been ~ 36 hours since that fall. Enough time has now passed that I can compare it to a similar injury to my left shoulder 3 or 4 decades ago. That injury to my left shoulder was a broken collar bone as a result of a bicycle crash. The pain, soreness, and weakness now in my right shoulder is very similar to what accompanied that broken left collar bone decades ago. No, I haven't been to a doctor with this right shoulder situation. What would be the point? I know how to nurse it back to health. As long as I rest it as much as possible, which is easy since I'm fully retired and basically homebound, I'll just lay low and let nature take its course.

And the adventure continues.
