I made it through the 1st day of the new year without spending any money, and without breaking anything. And I was able to forward some information to the wife overseas that she wanted. Rather enjoyed watching the Rose Parade on TV and kept entertaining football games running in the background as I read nearly to the end of a novel I've been working through. Actually, I may finish that book before I put head to pillow tonight.
