Sunday afternoon finds the day moving smoothly. Pain in my mouth continues but I'm dealing with it. As long as I eat small bites that don't need much chewing, and I keep that chewing over on the “good” side of my mouth, that's not too bad.
The issue with my hips seems to have resolved itself. As long as I wear the proper shoes, and move around very carefully and intentionally, I'm okay. I've not used a walking stick for weeks now. Of course I don't “zip around” like a young man, instead I move more slowly as a 75 year-old man should.
Over the past week or so my health metrics have been consistently very good, both my body weight and blood pressure. That does make me happy.
Tomorrow I begin using the medicated eye drops as scheduled prior to Thursday's cataract surgery. Friday, when the eye patch is removed, I'll begin a different schedule of different eye drops to help that eye recover from the operation.
