Well, THIS came as a surprise! The following message from one of the chess clubs I belong to was received earlier today.
Congratulations on being the winner of your group in the 2nd round of Casual Chess section, 245th GameKnot tournament!
3rd round will start on Thursday, July 3rd, 2025.
A few minutes prior to getting this message I had joined another chess tourney in a different chess club with play to begin in that tourney on 13 July. The time controls for correspondence chess play at both clubs is usually 2 days allowed for each move.
So, it appears there'll be plenty of chess going on here in the Roscoe-verse through July and likely August, too.
The adventure continues.
