A Letter to Future Me
Dear Future Me,
As I write this, I am 15 years old. Please try not to forget what really matters in life. Don't forget who you are and never stop building and developing yourself. Be proud of the person who stands in the mirror. Really get to know her and always take care of her. Don't forget what really matters in life. Always live, don't just exist or go through the motions. Be present and in the moment. You are bound to get lost or fall into a rut, but find your way and always bounce back. Never give up. Make me proud. Also, don't forget to have fun and make memories. Life is meant to be lived. Balance work and play, family and friends, learning and teaching, etc... Balance is key with everything in life. Get to know both others and yourself. Learn and reflect. Watch and experience. Live your life like you could die tomorrow because you very well could. Read the works of great minds and learn how to think. Never stop learning. Read books, experience the world, take advantage of every opportunity, be creative, stop and reflect, quiet your mind, exhibit control where you can, accept what you can't control, and learn how to live life right. And finally, don't lose your spark; don't lose your zest for life. Remember what I know now as a 15-year-old, which is more than many might think.
