Happy Birthday to meee.
So today I turn 76 y/o. How about THAT ?!
And it's been a pretty good day, too. As many folks who are my age know, especially those of us with chronic health conditions (primarily arthritis for me), there are good days and not so good days. Today happens to be one of the good ones. I was actually able to get out and move about without needing a cane or a walking stick.
The wife rose early this morning and fixed me a big breakfast. And when she got off work she treated me to an Olive Garden meal: house salad, lasagna, and a piece of chocolate cake (pictured above) for dessert.
Home now, we relax. She naps, and I settle back and give thanks for all my many blessings, for another year of my retirement completed, and for the prospects of another good year ahead.
