Given the current situation, I have to say it : the regime in Iran is absolute garbage. It’s rotten to the core and has done nothing but bring pain, fear, and destruction to the people. We’d be more than happy to reclaim our freedom, regain control over our own resources, and rebuild the foundations of true liberalism and secularism and Islam free principles we once proudly held. We never been muslims to begin with 😊 And with that, we could finally celebrate our culture again, one of the oldest in the world—almost unmatched in its depth as a civilization—and our commitment to human rights.
But honestly, I have two main concerns. The first, and most important, is the safety of my people and my loved ones who are still there. The second is financial. A significant portion of my income still comes from Iran, and replacing that quickly would be difficult. Those are really my only concerns! if my people remain unharmed, then we’ll just have to see how things unfold.
That said, I don’t fully trust Western powers either. No one acts out of goodwill . Israel actions have been driven by a deep concern for the safety of their own people, which is understandable. But still, the situation with Palestine and everything surrounding it is deeply complicated.
Anyway, that’s where things stand. I barely slept last night, just glued to the news. But I won’t be active on social media for some time. When political tensions rise, I don’t see social media as a priority for personal use. Cheers
