I’ve come to realize that during moments of emotional vulnerability or when my family is facing potential danger, you truly see people’s real intentions. It becomes easier to tell who your genuine friends are and who’s just pretending. I make it a point to remember who checks in and offers support, regardless of whether things are going well or not. It’s telling when some people never reach out, yet still call themselves friends. In the end, those moments reveal a lot.
