So, there’s this trend on TikTok right now where women ask their long-term boyfriend or husband to pack their lunch bag… and honestly? What you see is mind-blowing. Like, not in a good way.
These men put in ZERO effort. Actually, scratch that, sometimes it feels like they go out of their way to humiliate their partner for even asking. It’s insane. Like, one guy literally threw in a pre-packaged snack and some moldy stuff 🤢called it lunch. Another one? He added dog food and wrote, “Because you’re my DAWG.” Like… what?? The disrespect is actually unreal.
And it makes you stop and think: how many of these grown men are just coasting through relationships, taking everything from their partner, the emotional labor, the caretaking, the constant “service,” but the second they’re asked for one small thing, they flip it into some kind of cruel joke? That’s not funny. That’s not love. That’s humiliation.
What breaks my heart even more is seeing some of the women defend it. They’ll say, “Oh no, I thought it was funny, that’s why I posted it.” But come on. No kind of humor excuses that level of disrespect. That’s not a joke, that’s a giant red flag wrapped in “haha, I’m just kidding.”
And honestly, once you see this pattern on such a massive scale, you can’t unsee it. That old saying that some men genuinely hate their wives or girlfriends while still benefiting from them suddenly makes way too much sense.
I TRULY hope that more women wake up to this dynamic. That they realize they deserve actual partnership, not babysitting a grown man who laughs at their expense. Because this trend isn’t just a silly TikTok thing. It’s a mirror. And what it’s showing is ugly
