Once you are in medical science, you start losing your mind over the nonsense that gets advertised and sold to people. I stumbled on these kits charging around 200$ to “test” allergies by asking people to mail in their hair. It’s honestly unbelievable. Hair is basically a dead strand of keratin with no living or reactive cells. There is nothing in it that can trigger an immunogenic response or reveal any type of allergy.
I see thousands of things like this and it’s insane. I don’t even know what to say anymore. It makes my blood boil. I genuinely feel bad for the people wasting their money while scammers take full advantage of them
