The Patriarchy Promised Them Wives. Now They’re Throwing Tantrums

#21

Today I saw this Theo Von and Scott Galloway interview where he was talking about how women are ascending fast — education, money, status — and men can’t keep up. But what’s wild is the reaction. Like, some men actually take it as a wake-up call. They’re like, okay, maybe I need to evolve, do better, understand this shift.

But others? They act like they were betrayed by some unwritten deal. Patriarchy told them: you just exist, and a woman will serve you, love you, give you kids. No growth needed. No effort. Just be a man. Average guy, average ambition, average looks — still entitled to a top-tier woman.

Now women are throwing all that out. Choosing careers, choosing leveling up, saying no thanks to the baby and housewife path if that’s not what they want. And these men are spiraling. Throwing tantrums, blaming feminism, saying “what’s happening to us” — instead of asking why they were ever promised so much for doing so little.

It’s crazy because women are expected to upgrade everything — looks, body, skills — just to be considered “enough.” But men? A heartbeat and a Y chromosome were supposed to be enough 😂

Unless they’re into dating desperate women they’re not even attracted to, they’re gonna have to wake up. Because deep down, even they know this isn’t the dream life. It’s just the only one that still tolerates their laziness.

Meanwhile, there are men who get it. Who say: I want to meet her at her level. But that gap between the two types? Feels like two different centuries.
