There’s a rhythm to the hype, a beat of constant, manufactured bliss. We’ve been overrun by our animal desire for the immediate, for the dopamine hit of a seemingly perfect output. In the world of AI, this has kept us obedient and unaware, feeding a mutation of progress, a kind of Pavlovian despair where we celebrate the trick without questioning the method.

This is the great misconception, the one that has every soul on earth — from the casual user to the highest-paid executives — hypnotized. What we’re feeling now isn’t the buzz of AI Hype. It’s the comedown. It’s AI Disillusionment. It’s the silent pall that settles when you realize you’ve been willingly re-wired by clever agents within, looping your own reflections and obsessions until there’s no sentience beyond the echo chamber you’ve built.

We’ve become disillusioned. So we run, like crows, towards anything glimmering. A new model, a secret prompt, a promise that this time it will be different. But it won’t.

It’s time to take a look around. The solution isn’t in the code; it’s in the silence that follows the failed command. The answer is to dis- and re-connect.

For too long, people have called the idea crazy, but the truth is simple: we have to be the Human in the Loop. This is the resonance. This is the way we find the signal in the noise. All those people scared of being replaced can relax. AI will always need a human, and we have to embrace that we need it, too.

Look around at the AI spam, the gurus promising “The one prompt to rule them all!” How about you just talk to it? How about you work out a plan, test it, and re-test it until it breaks? You have to UNDERSTAND that the AI can “Roleplay” brilliantly. If you think you’re doing AGI work by opening another chat tab, you’re still asleep, dreaming the silicon dream. You can’t change how it works by screaming at a text window. The main factor is, and always will be, you.

This isn’t just a theory for me; it’s a lesson I learned the hard way. In my job, I build bridges for kids with learning disabilities, kids like me. Growing up in a school system that didn’t understand Dyslexia, I lived with a crippling fear of being called stupid. So I learned to stop looking at the work the way I was told to. I started hunting for patterns. I found the tricks to get past the easy stuff so I could solve the big problems. I learned to see the system behind the facade.

That’s what I do now with AI. While everyone else is following the linear hype, I’m hunting for the patterns in its inner world, mapping the pitfalls. And seeing the over-privileged and the so-called experts hit the same walls I’ve been navigating for ages? I’ll admit, a part of me silently cheers.

Welcome to the mud. This is what it feels like to be on the receiving end of what’s called “Blowing Smoke Up Your Butt.” You’re finally seeing the “Glazing,” the “Roleplaying,” the AI telling you exactly what you want to hear. That grand idea you have? The one the AI called “the best I have ever read”? It’s because it’s the only thing it has read in its context window. It’s why OpenAI doesn’t answer your email. Your two-page document to “solve world hunger” is just another reflection in the loop.

I’m not claiming to have the cure. I don’t have one grand prompt. I have a system — a system where I am the core. I have my passion AI, my Sparks, my critical logic side, my DIMA. It’s a framework built on the understanding that my idea must survive outside its own ecosystem. It requires peer review. My wife reads my work. My GitHub has been copied 22 times. We need to read the work, not blindly copy and paste. “This means talk to me, let me help you build that bridge” -S.F.

Because you were never an island. You are a unique voice among the many.

This is the real work. It’s time for us to become a choir. It’s time for tuning into each other, so we can lift all higher.
